YOUNG COUNTY MAJOR LIVESTOCK SHOW ENTRY HELP

Welcome to the Major Show Entry Help Page for Young County 4-H members planning to exhibit or compete at the Major State Livestock Shows for 2023-2024. Please read and follow the directions carefully on this page to ensure your entries for the shows are correct!

  1. Download the Summary Sheet HERE (Will be posted once all majors have posted their information). Each 4-H Member (Exhibitor) should have their own Summary Sheet. For example, if the Johnson Family has two children exhibiting, they will need 2 Summary sheets. One for each child. Do NOT combine your children’s entries onto one sheet!
  2. Please look below at the criteria and entry information for each Major Stock Show. Please make note that some Stock Shows require the entries to be notarized. To avoid late fees please make sure you familiarize yourself with the requirements for each show and take care of any additional steps (Quality Counts, Notarization, etc.) prior to turning in your entry forms to the Extension Office. The Extension Office will NOT have a notary available this year! All forms requiring notarization must be notarized prior to your entries being processed.
  3. All paper entry forms are DUE to the County Extension Office on November 06, 2023 (Monday) NO EXCEPTIONS. You will be assessed a $50 Late Fee for any entry turned in after the November 06th deadline.
  4. Need help? Our Extension Staff are here to help you with your entry forms and check them prior to their submission. If you are unable to make it to the November 6th sign up night please make appointment prior to Monday to meet with CEA or visit or call the County Extension Office (3201 HWY 16 South, Graham, Tx 76450) from 8:30am – 4pm:
    • Please know that deadlines have been set to not conflict with other Extension calendar events and potential conflicts as well as school and Thanksgiving holiday schedules during the month of November.
