You Lead is a training program designed to develop and cultivate leaders within the community. Each class is a diverse group representing many different
organizations and groups within Young County. It is an interactive learning program that teaches leadership skills and provides training and education.
Class members are provided with a comprehensive overview of the county and learn about many different programs and organizations including:
- Economic Development, Tourism, City of Graham
- Education
- History of Graham
- Regional Economy & Media
- City, County & State Government
- Emergency & Medical
- Social Services
Each month different organizations and businesses are asked to share with the You Lead class about their brand, mission, and how they impact the community. Class participants are encouraged to learn about the different leadership and volunteer opportunities in the community in hopes that they will be able to share with others or even take an active roll themselves.
You Lead is jointly coordinated by the Graham Chamber of Commerce and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
